- מִסְתְּיָא, מִסְתְּיָיא, מִי׳f. (denom. of מִסַּת) 1) (it is) enough. Targ. Y. Num. 12:14 מִסְתְּיָהּ it is enough for her. Targ. 1 Chr. 21:15; 27 מִסְתְּיָיךְ; (Targ. 2 Sam. 24:16 מסת).Y.Keth.I, 25c לא מִסְתְּיָיהּוכ׳ is it not enough for her that she has been raised to priesthood?Gitt.14b לא מִיסְתֵּיהוכ׳ (some ed. מִיסְתְּיֵיה) not enough that he did not help us but Ib. 56b מִיסְתְּיָיךְ דקא חזיתוכ׳ thou art sufficiently rewarded by seeing the distress of thy enemy.
